Liam Wilkinson is a poet and songwriter from Yorkshire, England. He was born in South Yorkshire in 1981. His poems have appeared in such publications as Modern English Tanka, Simply Haiku, Modern Haiga, Ribbons and Bottle Rockets as well as various anthologies. He is the founding editor and curator of the 3LIGHTS Gallery of Haiku, Senryu & Tanka. as well as co-editor of both Modern Haiga and Take Five.
As a poet, Liam has written and published free verse since 2000, but it is as a writer of modern haiku, senryu and tanka that Liam thrives. His latest e-book, The Darkening Tide, is a collection of tanka, written about his time on the East and West coasts of Northern England.
Liam currently lives in York, England where he works as a Reference Specialist for York Libraries. He is also one half of the acoustic duo, Allan & Liam Wilkinson. |
