| SUBMISSION CALL WAY BACK HOME: HAIKU & TANKA OF HOME & BELONGING From October 2008, 3LIGHTS presents an open-submission exhibition of haiku and tanka about home, haunts and habitats. We're looking for submissions of haiku and tanka that illustrate the feelings that we have for the places we call home. Perhaps it's haiku of the sadness that being away from home brings, or tanka of the contentment that one feels between his or her own four walls. Please submit up to ten previously unpublished haiku/tanka in the body of an email to: threelightsgallery at yahoo dot co dot uk Submission period ends : September 20th 2008. We hope that by sharing your work online, we are helping to promote your work as a writer. We only accept haiku, senryu and tanka, but we often invite writers to submit artwork, such as haiga. For a brief definition of the terms, please visit our about page. Accepted poems will appear in our 'open-submission' exhibitions until the authors wish for them to be removed.
